Listen I m not a poetry person I don t get that same euphoric otherworldly feel from a poem as I do from a novel Am I even supposed to feel that Am I supposed to feel something completely different I don t know I really liked some of these poems and others I couldn t care less about So all in all I did enjoy this but I also didn t care God poetry just confuses me I clicked a lot with Sylvia Plath s poetry but I only discovered my love for her writing through her novel It s always novelsI hope one day I can have a huge love and appreciation for poetry but until then I ll forever have this lukewarm halfway between loving and hating it impression
